“Providing Water for the World“ is the motto of the TUM DeSal Challenge, an engineering competition for the design of desalination plants powered by renewable energies. 12 student teams from Croatia, Finland, Iran, Poland, Mexico, Chile, USA and Germany developed their own ideas to fight global water scarcity and competed for the best concept on 17th and 18th of June 2016 at the campus of Technical University of Munich (TUM).
